Answer a few questions to begin. The quote experience is provided through the agency’s existing Quoteplicity service.

  • No obligation to apply or buy
  • No medical exam for many available plans
  • Human help when you want it

Quoted prices are estimates, not offers of coverage. Final rates, benefits, and eligibility are determined by the issuing insurance company. Information entered in the quote flow should not be included in advertising URLs or analytics event labels.

How it works

A short path from price to protection.

The online quote helps you narrow the field. An agent then helps verify the details and coordinates the carrier’s separate application.

01

Review prices

Choose a coverage amount, answer the quote questions accurately, and compare initial estimates.

02

Compare the details

Look beyond price at the benefit type, waiting periods, company, and underwriting requirements.

03

Complete the application

If you decide to proceed, the carrier sends its own electronic application and signature request.

Know the benefit type

“No exam” does not mean every plan works the same way.

Your health history and eligibility can affect which benefit structure is available. Read the policy details before applying.

Level benefit

The full death benefit is generally available from the policy’s effective date, subject to the policy’s terms, exclusions, and contestability provisions.

Health qualification usually applies

Graded or modified

Natural-cause benefits may be limited during an initial period. The policy may return premiums with interest or pay a percentage of the benefit during that time.

Review the waiting period

Guaranteed issue

Designed for certain applicants who may not qualify elsewhere. These policies typically cost more and commonly include a graded-benefit period.

Approval is plan-specific

Common questions

A few details worth knowing.

How much does final expense insurance cost?

Cost depends on your age, state, coverage amount, tobacco or nicotine use, health history, benefit type, and the insurance company’s underwriting. Online prices are estimates until a carrier reviews the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

Many final-expense plans do not require an in-person medical exam. They may still ask health questions and check prescription or other consumer-authorized records.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. Approval is not guaranteed unless you are applying for a specific guaranteed-issue product and meet that product’s eligibility rules. Other plans use health-based underwriting.

When does the full benefit begin?

That depends on the policy. A level-benefit plan may provide the full natural-cause benefit from the effective date, while graded or modified plans limit natural-cause benefits during an initial period.

Can I choose my beneficiary?

Generally, the policyowner names the beneficiary, subject to the carrier’s rules and applicable law. Your agent can explain the carrier’s application fields.

What happens after I review a quote?

If you select an option and request help, an agent follows up to confirm the details. If you choose to apply, the insurance carrier sends a separate application and electronic-signature request.
